Genuine Fujitsu 9385908017 Indoor Fan Guard is the guard that sits in the indoor unit's casing around the crossflow fan, held by its own pair of guard holders. It is what keeps hands and fingers away from the fan while it is turning, which is not something to leave to chance in a room where people live. A guard that is cracked, distorted or missing leaves the fan open to reach, which is exactly what it is there to prevent.
