Genuine Fujitsu 9603553005 Outdoor Brushless DC Motor is the fan motor in the outdoor unit, turning the fan that moves air through the unit. When it fails the fan stops, air stops moving across the coil, and the system cannot heat or cool. The genuine part is the one Fujitsu built this outdoor unit around, so it goes back in as the original did.
